The 2015 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year is Rear Admiral Pamela Schweitzer, PharmD ’87. The recognition by the Pharmacy Alumni Association is given to the School graduate who has made outstanding contributions to the profession of pharmacy, to society, and/or to UCSF.

Gibson receives Chauncey I. Cooper Award

Inaba named first fellow of Haight Ashbury Free Clinics

Darryl Inaba, PharmD, UCSF School of Pharmacy 1971 alumnus, a substance abuse expert and former CEO of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, Inc., was honored on August 7, 2006 as the clinics' first fellow.

Gibson awarded Remington Medal

Robert D. Gibson, PharmD, UCSF School of Pharmacy alumnus and former associate dean, is the 2006 recipient of the Remington Honor Medal. This is the highest honor bestowed by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

Lovotti Leaves More Than $6 Million to School

UCSF School of Pharmacy Class of 1915 alumnus Carl Lovotti bequeathed to the School an unexpected estate gift that totals more than $6 million. Lovotti died in June 2003 at the age of 108.
