Funding
The Department of Clinical Pharmacy has an operating budget of more than $30 million. The department, and the UCSF School of Pharmacy of which it is a part, are state-assisted, not fully state-funded.
In addition to California state general funds, Department of Clinical Pharmacy funding sources include funds received in support of the California Poison Control System, faculty professional fees and School services, federal and other contracts and grants, student professional fee and continuing education program income, indirect cost recovery funds, and private gifts.
