Amoxicillin/ clavulanate 875mg/125mg PO BID OR Moxifloxacin5,6 400mg PO daily
Duration of treatment should be until patient is afebrile for 3-5 days |
For severe PCN allergy3: Metronidazole 500mg PO q8h Plus one of: Ciprofloxacin 500mg PO q12h OR Levofloxacin5 500mg PO daily
Duration of treatment should be until patient is afebrile for 3-5 days
