Marcus Ferrone (PhD, PharmD) Director of DPSL.
Jerry Bales (B.S., Pharm.D.,Assistant Clinical Professor) has been at DPSL for 10 years. Jerry supervises and compounds high risk level sterile preparations and takes part in the teaching of student interns and fourth year pharmacy students. He plays a major role in research, marketing and computer maintenance at DPSL.
Lisa Tan (Pharm.D., Assistant Clinical Professor) supervises and compounds high risk level sterile preparations in the ISO 7 cleanroom. She teaches student interns and fourth year pharmacy students. She has been at DPSL for 9 years and has been active in marketing, research and web-site development. She is co-webmaster of this site.
Jose Rodriquez (Pharmacy Technician) has been at DPSL for over 30 years and is responsible for production of ointments, creams, lotions, syrups and other liquids as well as delivery of orders. Jose won the prestigious "Frances Val Louie Award" for service excellence.
Jennifer Chow (Pharmacy Technician) is expert in compounding of intravenous piggybacks, intrathecal syringes, parenteral nutrition and cardioplegic solutions. She has been at DPSL for 13 years and participates in capsule and specialized product formulation. Jennifer teaches students the practice of aseptic technique.
Rachelle Fernandez (Pharmacy Technician) has been with DPSL for 7 years and formulates bulk and unit dose products. Rachelle turns out superior active and placebo capsules for drug studies, prepares oral and topical solutions, liquid oral syringes, ointments for allergy patch testing and adult and pediatric suppositories.
